mailbag 6: take bikini bottom and push it somewhere else

made on november 15, 2025

we have acquired more mail from the mail god.

hi alice!! glad to see you're one of like 12 other people to find/know about my website (in all fairness, i'm probably not doing enough to show more people it to begin with).

i'm also happy to hear that you enjoyed migraine ii. like with the previous one, it was also relatively made in the same timespan of 2 years or so, and i'm pleased with how both albums turned out. anyways, to answer your questions...

1: When is more music coming? So far, I've listened to literally every song on the site and fell in love with a type of music I didn't even know existed.

as of me making this mailbag post, i'm currently working on migraine iii and a fuckton of other songs for it. it might be a bit different, but it will be similar to the previous incarnation.

alongside that, i probably mentioned that i'm working on a comedy album with a few friends of mine. i won't reveal much about that just yet. i've watched many bond movies to know that you don't reveal all the details to your plan no matter how close you think you are to winning (or whatever azrael said in dogma).

i will say, though, there is so much music i've listened to in my entire life that i could easily share with you that are probably better than i am.

one day i might make like a list of musicians i was inspired by, considering that was a little part of a question i did answer about myself beforehand, but to name some off the top of my head, i would say my inspirations include (with some favorite albums in parenthesis):

- daft punk (homework, discovery).

- propellerheads (decksandrumsandrockandroll).

- hive (devious methods).

- the prodigy (experience, the fat of the land).

- MF DOOM (operation: doomsday, madvillainy [w/ madlib], MM..FOOD, special herbs volumes 0-9).

- j dilla (any of his beat tapes that have a year attached to it, donuts).

- aphex twin (selected ambient works 85-92, selected ambient works volume ii).

- the bloodhound gang (hooray for boobies).

- weird al yankovic (bad hair day, running with scissors).

- denis leary (no cure for cancer, lock n load).

- vargskelethor (super ghostbusters).

- system of a down (every one of their goddamn albums).

- linkin park (hybrid theory, meteora).

- green day (kerplunk, dookie, insomniac, nimrod, american idiot).

- three days grace (self-titled debut, one-x).

- kmfdm (naïve, symbols).

and so much more.

2: In relation to the previous question, how would you describe your works?

like drinking an entire bottle of crystal pepsi.

ok in all seriousness i actually have no idea what i would put as a genre of music for my works. i know in the metadata it says speak2me!, but that's mainly because i didn't know what else to add. i could've easily added some shit like experimental or other but i think that's too basic.

i just make music that i think sounds good. that's really about as simple as it is.

also the crystal pepsi statement probably applies more to my art than my music. -w-

3: If you could meet anybody who has lived ever, who would it be? (like George Washington or something)

oh god that's a really good question. i don't know. besides the obvious amounts of artists i put up there (yes i know i keep mentioning that but it's true), one person i would've loved to meet is stephen hillenburg, creator of spongebob. that or seth macfarlane, creator of family guy (even though he's still alive and i might have more of a chance i think).

find more people. give them to me. but most important of all, send more mail. *w*
