sleep
made on november 8, 2025
hi.
i wasn't able to update the site earlier today at 11:23 like i usually would, because i needed some sleep.
i feel like this might happen overtime, so let me tell you why:
i've been staying up late for as long as i can remember (aka when i was like 9 or 10 years old), and at the same time, it feels like i never want to go back to sleep. usually i'd stay up until 2 or 3 am for reference, and a good portion of the time, that's when some of the site gets updated. other times, i'm mainly just chatting with people and making more music (or dying trying).
in turn, i've only been receiving around 6 to 10 hours of sleep per day from this phenomenon. of course, i'd usually try to get up earlier on saturday just for these site updates, but to no avail.
i have a solutions for this problem besides what you might already know, which is forcing me to take 2 gallons of nyquil every day at around 9:30 pm.
one idea i had was to make the site updates scheduled, so that they would exactly update on the time i said it would. turns out that isn't problem with the way the host i have this site on works. i don't really know why. and yes, i've been updating this whole thing manually because i'm that dedicated to it.
but anyways, i figure if i contact my host on how to implement this sort of feature (without a paywall), maybe then i could save myself the worry that is of coming up with another thing to post onto this site throughout the week, including this post.
i would talk about dreams here, considering that's another part of sleeping, but i have some more unique experiences with those i should probably cover in a later blog post.
