and now, some questions that i decided to answer beforehand. you can ask me more questions at my email as see in contact (you can also ask if you want your name to be shown here or not). i'll try to answer those on mailbag, so hopefully there'll be more to come.
q: wait a minute, you made this?
a: of course! if i didn't, i'd probably be stuck on social media all helpless. that would suck. a lot. on top of that, i'd probably die. :(
q: so, what do you exactly do?
a: i just like making music and art. oh and web design, if you count this website.
q: okay, but how do you do both of those things though?
a: many ways, really! okay, maybe for the art part, but music is exclusively done through fl studio. great software. i also have an ibook g4 with ableton live, but i don't particularly use it much.
now, for the art part. one word: photoshop. or, at least, mainly photoshop. it's how i made most of this site's graphics. the only other graphics i made that weren't with photoshop specifically were the 5 post categories: art, blogs, mailbag, music, and videos. those were done in macromedia freehand mx, a vector graphics software similar to adobe illustrator.
q: who... or what... inspires you?
a: i'm gonna fucking sock you in your throat.
in all honesty, many things really inspire me. my main inspirations when it particularly comes to my style, however, are somewhat derived from the following:
-
a good portion of 2000s aesthetics like y2k and its many subgenres, along with pieces from the time.
- music including (included but not limited to) jungle/dnb, nu-metal, big beat, acid jazz, industrial metal, boom bap, plunderphonics, vaporwave, and even the relics from myspace.
- bill wurtz. i love this dude's style so much that i went ahead and took it from him without asking.
- any retro tech. pretty self explanatory.
- nakeyjakey. this guy is funny as fuck and his music made me want to do whatever he did.
- there's more i'd like to explain, but i feel like i've already explained as further as possible.
q: what are some of your childhood games?
a: i've always been into flash games, ever since i was young. some of them include club penguin, riddle school, and mission in snowdriftland. i also really like some of the stuff nintendo made, like animal crossing, tetris, and super smash bros. melee. sega, too. i love jet set radio and its soundtrack. this is also applied to sonic adventure 2.
q: can i reupload your content to other platforms?
a: at this point, i can't combat the fact that ai corporations will salvage all of my content to make their ai "better". at the very most, just give me credit by putting the website in whatever description tab there is.
